Web Developer – WordPress

Responsibilities

• Revise, edit, proofread & optimize web content
• Work towards developing the existing English website to a Sinhala and Tamil website
• Work cross-functionally to enhance overall user experience of our platforms
• Experience solving multi-browser compatibility and multi-device compatibility issues
• Good understanding of creative and current web analytics and reporting tools
• Experience creating, customizing, and integrating APIs
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, social media platforms and current technologies
• Make any direct changes or create variations of the template as required
• Work with the Content Marketing team to determine what information the site will contain
• Create custom reports to show web performance and insights.
• nterpret web analytics and engagement reports: traffic, keyword rankings and lead generation. Flag any issues and recognise any quick wins to boost conversions.

The profile we are looking for,

• Age below 25 years
• Undergraduate of a reputed University pursuing a degree in the field Of IT or Software • Motivated self-starter who will take projects from idea to execution
• Fluent in English and Sinhala. Tamil also is preferred.
• An individual with strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography and design skills
• Constant communication with stakeholders in the business to develop and deploy content— and ensuring there is a clear establishment Of what can be created within what timeframe
• A good understanding of digital marketing tactics – SEO, PPC and social media advertising — Desirable
• Highly organised, with the ability to multitask across different websites and deliverables
